clutch confusion! and exhaust....

hi, im randy. im new to the brute force and this forum! im sure this has been covered, maybe beat in to the ground, but i just bought a 2016 750 eps model. ive got a snorkel kit and a set of outlaw 2's (28-9.5-14) ordered and have a few questions. as a large dude (280) with this size and weight tire, and slightly, lol, agressive riding style in the mud and trails, what if any clutch upgrades should i make? im having trouble finding threads for this! any additional precautions for a brute in deep water/mud would be appreciated! also, will slip ons and/or programmers from earlier 750's work on this bike? i cant justify the money for the full muzzy or hmf systems! thank you for any advice! or direction navigating the forum a little better!

Welcome to the forum. First, congrats on the 16 BF. These are the best of the best, and no, nothing prior will work on them as they are now closed-looped systems. I would leave the exhaust alone for now. On the clutch question, yes you will want to tune it slightly for your needs. The person best qualified to direct you on these as they are also a new system is VFJ (VFORCEJOHN) and you can call or email him. Here is his web site:

theres a lot of imfo on the clutch in the kawie section
you can change the springs to help with the big tires an thick mud
however the best thing is to have it modified (custom cut) to get the most out of it
as for the exhaust i would think the older model slip on would work but not sure
