Old post I know but I maintain a fleet with seven 6.0's....
03-04 are the worst years, being the first. Several changes made 04.5+ that help, including the HPOP(complete redesign) and wiring harness(which still needs the International replacement to be better, but will still have problems over time). - It's best stated that the 6.0 is F1 engineering with Chinese execution.
"Bulletproof" my @zz, all ours are deleted/studded/tow tuned, religious 3k mile oil changes, all still go down "randomly and frequently" due to various issues that there simply are no cures for.
Anyone who'd take a "bulletproof" 6.0 over a 6.7 is a few crayons short of a full box.
