how to allow a little more air into the engine

First you need some scissors to cut metal and a piece of material of this kind


Then you cut a piece just like the original flame arrester (this is how this thing is called in the parts manual) and you make a hole in the middle part just like the original also



And this is how it fits just like the oem but letting pass a lot more air, you can make a test, blowing to the oem part and putting your hand behind it, you wont fell much air in your hand, and doing the same thing with this material, you can feel more air passing

or of course you can just take the oem apart and leave it with nothing

i removed mine too but i get a single pop 1 outta 20 rides. always reminds me im not protected from that now.. would suck if the bike burned to the ground. thanks for insurance
