High gear on brute force out.

I have a brute that’s not at all trying to engage on high gear, all other gears work and the indicator lights work so I know the linkage is fine. I’m thinking the shift dogs are most likely the issue.
My question is what do you guys think is required to get to the dogs and possible replace the shift mechanism in there. Split the case. ?
And what special tool are going to be needed.
I already have to tool to get the clutches off.

Thanks.

Yes it has a cvt that transfers the engine power to the gear set in the transmission.

The other gears a fine on it. Low and reverse work as they should. It’s just when I shift into high, it’s like the gears aren’t lined up or something in the tranny.
