High gear on brute force out.

I have a brute thatís not at all trying to engage on high gear, all other gears work and the indicator lights work so I know the linkage is fine. Iím thinking the shift dogs are most likely the issue.
My question is what do you guys think is required to get to the dogs and possible replace the shift mechanism in there. Split the case. ?
And what special tool are going to be needed.
I already have to tool to get the clutches off.

I thought Brutes all had CVT’s? I would think it’s a clutch/belt issue.

Yes it has a cvt that transfers the engine power to the gear set in the transmission.

The other gears a fine on it. Low and reverse work as they should. Itís just when I shift into high, itís like the gears arenít lined up or something in the tranny.
