2007 650 BF front wheel bearing

I’ve done my rear wheel bearings with no issues. I’m trying to do the front and the retaining ring for the wheel bearing does not have ears like traditional snap rings. I’ve never seen this before and can’t figure out how to get it out. Anyone done those before? Is there a special tool for it?

The combination of my bad eyes and too much mud was the problem. Once I cleaned it and picked for a while I can see the eyes. Too much mud for too long made it look solid.
