Backrest

anybody use the Cabelas backrest?

2010 Brute 750

i've used two on my old honda and the first one didn't last that long (about three rides), but second has last'd for a year or so and was still in decent shape when a traded it, the pins and holding bolts were starting to rust thou. both came from yasky and looked just like that one you have posted. if i get another one i might get a different thing this go around.

I like mine. Didn't use the mounting hardware that came with it. I just used some bolts w/ wingnuts so nothing rattles.

Are those Cabela backrests confortable? They look awful flat...

08 Brute Force 750I, VDI Copperhead, HMF Swamp exhaust with custom snorks and radiator relocate. UNI air filter. Pink primary/ red secondary clutch springs and EPI weights. ASR tie rods and ends. 2" lift kit, 30" Zilla rears all the way around on 14" ITP SS212 wheels. Viper Max MX4000# winch with black Amsteel synthetic cable.

I havent ordered it yet, thinkin i can spend about $50 and build something a little sturdier and more comfortable..we will see, gotta finish the tie rod project first

I took a john dear seat cushion ($40-$50) made it into a back rest. I siliconed the seems just to make sure water didn't creep in. Bent some flat stock and whala! Got a bracket for my back rest and a bracket to hold the cooler all in one.
