Very nice. What turns them on? do you have a switch, or do they work with a mercury switch?

They work using a pin switch installed in the outer lip of the toolbox. When the lid closes they shut off, when the lid opens they auto-magically turn on!

^ correct. However Im going to put mine on a toggle. Mostly b/c there are times during the day when I'm piddling around and leave the lid open. So I'm gonna put mine on a regular switch mounted right inside the edge of the box.

I want the tool box led kit as well. Possible to get 3 strips? Or is that just overkill? Let me know about payment and I'll get it coming

Three is pretty much overkill for any full size toolbox two puts out a ton of light. I can make you up one with three if you wish. However; the small battery boxes that are an option with this and the cooler LEDs are still out of stock . If you wanted to hardwire it into your trucks electrical system it would work indefinitely

I'll see if I can source the battery boxes elsewhere tomorrow
