Me too, glad you decided on HPDE skid plates. Already tore up a rear skid plate guard and had to replace it. Those tree roots at crosby can wreck havok on your brute.

Not so much that I'm dead set on HDPE...i have no complaints at all about my aluminum ones, just looking at what is budget friendly and going to get the job done.

Filthyredneck do your aluminum Product skid plates withstand the brackish water at crosby.

I too thought that HPDE would be cheap until I saw that they were 232 for the a-arm guards and belly skids or 300 for the complete set with floorboard guards. Aluminum Prodcuts are $265 for the a-arm guards and the belly skids.

No problems with them out at crosby at all. Aluminum doesnt rust or deteriorate like steel, it does oxidize and start to look nasty if you don't take care of it but I wash my brute either on the way home or when I get home because I don't want other areas to develope rust. So yes they hold up fine, nothing wrong with them at all...just requires that you keep your stuff clean, I've seen your brute so I don't think you'd have any problems either. I've seen some really good deals on both the plastic and aluminum plates, and I don't honestly have a preference, I just want something thats going to do the job. I like the idea of the Impact Fabrications skids because of the floorboard protection.

Honestly I have not had my hair above water for 2 weeks. We have had multiple orders. I have them layed out in cad, I have not had time to get the router profile set up yet. I want this as bad as you guys and I will get there, just seems like every time I get a chance another order is in. We are in the process of looking for a bigger shop. Time to get some help hired. Sorry guys it's not moving faster.
