650/920 brute crank setting?

My cousin gave me a 04 brute 650 with 31" laws a couple years ago, with a wore out crank. I'm just now gettin around to building it. Since I was gonna have to buy a crank I went ahead and got the 920 big bore kit. My question is at what position to timing should this v twin be set? Single cylinder and v8's I know but I just wanna make sure I put this high dollar kit together right before I bust it off. Thank you to anyone willing to share knowledge with me in this matter.

920?

---------- Post added at 09:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:57 PM ----------

I should say 920 on prairie 650 heads could be a pita to get it to hold a head gasket if it ever does. Hope it has brute 750 cylinders but that Requires the case to be bored

The markings are on the flywheel. Install flywheel and startor cover take big plug out the top of stator cover it takes a big flat head screw driver. U will be able to see timing marks through that hole. Start with back cylinder.

No problem man. There is a way to time it without the flywheel but its kinda hard to explain. Using the flywheel is real simple

the fly wheel key way groove on the crank is what I use, there are lines on the inside of the case the groove on the crank for the key way has to line up with the rear line to instal rear cam and front line to do the front cam,you need to get you a manual it makes this alot easier,I can do it with my eyes closed but explaning is harder
