4" Super ATV Outty Lift Product Test

5863 Views 37 Replies 14 Participants Last post by  Southernmuddjunkie
We are starting our product test with Super ATV on their 4" Can-Am Outlander Lift kit as well as working to assist in developing the parts needed to fit the Renegade. Over all fit of the kit was great, quality built, and directions are spot on. Should plan on replacing all bearings in the rear arms when doing the kit or at least have spares on hand as they can be difficult to remove from the stock arms. We will continue to update this posting as the test continues.http://s406.photobucket.com/albums/pp142/rzr4me/Super%20ATV%204%20inch%20Lift%20Test%20ATVUTVTECH%20COM/

^Find yourself a 7" HighLifter....they are hard to find, but can be picked up at a good price. Other option is buy a TC 5 or 7" off of somebody (some people were trying to give these away awhile back) and rebuild it and throw some Gorilla or Turner axles under it and your good to go and can possibly have around $1000 or less in it.
Yeah not sure why there aren't more lifts and other products out for the brute. They are really nice machines with a ton of potential, the Teryx too.
One of the guys in our group bought this lift last week and will have it on when we make a trip to copiah creek. I will have some clips of it in action with this lift in our next video!

Because can-am is what everyone is going to at the current moment. That or SxS. Idk if u were at nats this year amd i know its not a real accurate measure of what people have, but.... The canam crowd was about 45% roughly of the population there. Its what everyone wants now and the "popular" thing to get.

Ill stick to my hondas though.. maybe a brute as well ;)
I know Can Am is popular but there are still a lot of other great machines out there as well. The brute especially.
Yeah everywhere I use to ride brutes were 3 or 4 to 1. Lol

Try Tapatalk!!
all the cool kids still ride brutes and honda's .. and all the band wagon jumpers got on can ams ..lol

I resemble that comment! I loved my brute while I had it for sure... Just got tired of working on it. Very impressed with the canned Hams in the garage now. I will be getting one of these lifts (eventually)
lift looks good...

had to comment on the brute lift thing...theres a reason brute lifts aren't cheap ;) I been there done that, could barely give the TC lift away...

Your bike, my old brute...yeah it's was all wrenched on pretty good. Ole "pink meat", what the wrench time on it as of now? I just bought chelle a 800 max!! I'm hoping that there's as little wrench time on it as was with my renegade.

Btw, I'm anxious to see this lift in action for myself. That may be the next mod to be installed on her max. "Titanic"!!!!
We will have footage up soon on the lift. We are headed to the upper peninsula of Michigan in early may for some serious riding there.
I will post more details in the thread I started in the Can-am section, but we were told yesterday by SATV that they are going to pull this lift off the market for a little while & re-vamp somethings that people are having issues with.
There is an issue with axle length we found. They are working through the corrections. The right rear axle is about an inch short and pulls out of detent in the diff at full extension. Being the good company they are they responded quickly in acting on the findings. Only seems to happen in certain units and not all machines.
Keep in mind this type of issue is why good companies do product testing before and after product release. How a company responds when an issue is found is a true reflexion of them. In this case super ATV contacted us within 4 hours of notification and was working on resolution. Very responsive.
^ agreed, fully. They are stepping up to make their customers happy on this, and they told us up-front that they were uncertain of the kits fitment on the XMR and even noted that there are only a few kits out in "the general public's" hands for real-world testing/feed-back.

I honestly wish we could get a set of axles about 3/4-1" shorter for the back, that way I could bring the track width back in where it should be. Our angle isn't as steep because we lowered the shock mounts, thus it would be nice to even the track width up to inside of 1" per side. - That would be liveable, as it wouldn't be noticeable just by looks.
A buddy in our group is installing this lift on his for this weekend. He is out of town right now but should be back in today and im sure he will start right away on it. Im interested to see if he has any issues with it. Im hoping for his sake he doesnt but will shall see. Ill keep yall posted. THats awesome that superatv is responding and standing behind there product though! BIG thumbs up to them!
