Help Snapped Short Stub Axle

Bought a Kazuma Mammoth 800 , Thing runs awesome , guy I bought it from told me there was a problem in the rear differentail that had been fixed . well it was the short stub axle they welded it and it held for a little but first time I hit some rough terrain it snapped , found a site that sells parts for it but they say that part is on back order and have no idea when or if they'll be able to get it . So my question is there somewhere I could send the axle to and have a replacement made or would a local machine shop be able to make one
