Several had problems with that adaptor and never found a filter that would work so they ended up going with the non-Tstat one. If you find a filter that works Post it up here. I may even switch over. It take for ever to get the oil to 180 in the winter.

This will not work with 2008 Brute Force 750...just to save u the Hard ache and bad blood for this company!!!They took off to much material for the T-stat and should be ashamed to put made in USA on this product! The filter Fram PH3593A does not even work!!!!!!!! And is listed in their instructions!!!!:saevilw::saevilw::saevilw::saevilw:
I'm getting ready to do the oil cooler mod to my '08. I have everything I need for the install, thanks to a friend (SWBF 900) on our sister site. I want to install a TTO oil temp gauge during the process. I think the most accurate reading will come from the bottom of the oil pan. I want to insert the sensor in the oil drain plug. My question is ; What is the oil drain plug drain bolt pattern? I've done the searchy, searchy thing. I believe it is M12x1.5. Eveveryone says they believe that is correct Can anyone confirm the size before I order parts??
I think that's right too but...I have no way of checking without pulling it. I always thought if I wanted a temp gauge I would just put it in a "T" on the line to the cooler at the adaptor.
The 20mm x 1.5 is correct for the threads but I am not sure about the base. It doesn't tell us its for the small filters...ie Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha...ect There's a 90% chance it will work fine...IMO
Thanks. I hope it works, it's a nice machined piece! I ordered that adapter and the L7B cooler. I'll make hoses at work next week. Going to do #8 hose with #8 JIC Female ends.
Anyone have some hose lengths that worked well off the top of their head? I believe I saw 39" somewhere in this thread.
The drain bolt pattern is M12x1.5 confirmed. I installed the temp sensor in the drain bolt. I may T it inline when I install the cooler. I'm not brave enough to drill/tap the sandwich plate without a drill press!
^chicken lol
I just recently purchased and installed a oil cooler kit on eBay. It comes with the cooler adapter that has ports for pressure and temperature and also comes with Aeroquip An-10 fittings and hoses. The kit was like $120
For the fittings for a perma Cool oil cooler and sandwich adapter what are they if u hydraulic lines made are the fittings standard or metric putin one on my 2013 brute force 750

Hey guys im shopping for the parts so i can do this to my 07 750. Is there a sandwhich that comes tapped for the temp reading along with thermostatic since i live in quebec and winter is -40 up north lol.
Whats the best dimensions for an 07 750 stock rad And when the listing says 125-150 cc does that matter since were 749 ccs lol. Or if anyone has a link to buying just the oil filter because i dont trust clamps. Going to make ones like nmk. 210mm x65 mm is too small or too big for an oil cooler? Thanks in advance
