This is my first post on the forum. I got the relocate done and now want to do a cover for it, and was wondering how much of a gap between the rad and the cover should there be?
First post and I have a question. I traded for a 2007 Brute 650i. On the bottom of the water pump is a line with a clear plastic cylinder. It has a small piece of tube on the end of it. The guy before me had this hooked to the bottom outlet on the reservoir bottle. The top reservoir outlet ran up under the seat somewhere. The top radiator overflow just ran down towards the frame. I know this is not correct. The top rad line goes to the bottom of the res bottle, the top of the res bottle goes to vent. What do you do with the line off the water pump that has the cylinder attached to it?

That is the weep for the water pump mechanical seal or the shaft's oil seal. Should either ever start leaking, it unloads it below. It must never be blocked. It just runs down to that plastic thing and unloads under the skid plate.
