KN has finally made a filter for the 08'-09' brute 750's !!
The filter is part #7408. Price on KN site is $69.00. Any opinions on
whether it is worth it, flow better than UNI or Twin Air ??

I agree Tonka, K&N's are great filters and I run them in my vehicles but I like the idea of a foam filter in my wheeler. If you ever get it wet you can ring it out and stick it back in, they flow plenty, and as you said 1/3 the price. By the way I run a UNI but I don't think you can go wrong with Twin-Air either.

tacky is good! Captures that fine dust. Notoil's filter cleaner works very well.
Some people say to use gas, which works, but the filter manufacturer says not to.

Too many people have told me that the K&N let in too much dust and sand into the motor. The uni has tow layers of foam. I use the outerwear to keep any water out. I took the airbox off and filled it with water to test it out. I was impressed. So when a little bit of water gets into the airbox it will run into a 5/8 drain tube that I placed where the duckbill was.

ordering the KN filter, imo will work with EHS air lid very well. UNI will
stay on board for those really dusty rides. any good prices on these yet ?

K&N will outflow the foam filters.

the twinair and uni are supposed to flow more than stock. I will see if they have literature like K&N has.

gents, one question,

now that I have the VDI, 2-1/2" air box snorkel and HMF Utility for my Brute´08, do you recomed to change the air filter from the OEM one?

I dont like the idea of the K&N because of the price and because I prefer foam better than fiber or paper filter

I use degreaser to clean mine (oem) and then I put PJ1 in spray, it works great
