The lady at EPI said that the severe duty belt they make is stronger than an oem. She also told me that for 27s or 28s to go with a almond spring over a green one. What do you guys think ?:beat:

I think you'll like the almond. You should try it and see how it works for you.

Do you need a belt at the moment? I guess your going to have to go out on a limb on the belt. I don't know of anyone that has tried the belt. Most stick with oem.

I ordered severe duty belt , gold primary, and almond secondary. this is what they said i should get . Does this sound good to yall.

gold primary? Doesnt it create A LOT of stall? if so, then IMO, no. Stall sucks unless your a pit racer.

I just put the EPI severe duty on last week, rode sunday and it seems good

I had a severe belt on mine and it EXPLODED!!! I also ordered another one and took a shim out.Seems to work ok now.

Call me hard headed, but I am sticking with OEM belts on ANY of my machines and reccommend it for anybody else....
