For $40 I could pay a friend to cut me down some scrap peices of brass or alum. on a lathe. I guess if you are needing to take the sag out of your springs, and your too cheap to buy new springs or upgrade to HL springs then yeah this would be a quick cheap easy fix, however in the long run they arnt going to help anything. And you would still have to buy the spring compress tool from HL to put them on.

I seen a guy with a home made version of these.The home made ones were about twice as thick as the one pictured above. Basically all he done was add a short piece of steel pipe between the spring and shock collar. It kinda worked like adding HL springs. It took all the sag out of the springs but made the ride super stiff!!!
