I have been tinkering with my '02 650 Prairie these past few days. One of my "To Do" thingy's is to put my cooling fan on a toggle switch. I tested the fan and it works, but it was not coming on when riding. So I put in a toggle switch, and now - nothing. I have tried switching the wires around on the switch, even taking the switch off and testing the fan. It will not run now.

What did I screw up?

blown fuse?
Nope, that checked out ok. I think I have it figured out now tho. I can run the toggle directly to the fan with an inline fuse and get it to run. Had to bypass part of the plug to do that, but it works now.

Did you look at the examples on this site on how to wire it?

yeah you dont NEED the sensor really, the way most people are wireing them, keeps it in line, just for backup incase you forget to turn it on.
